lyrics
KINGDOM OF THE BLIND
Every life is like a Highway - we choose the roads we hope are clear
But what can we see?
We can walk towards redemption, we can run towards our dreams
So why do we fear?
We make believe that we have some control.
We struggle hard and then we find
We're in the Kingdom of the Blind
Every problem has solutions - Every doorway has its key
But where does it lead?
Always off to some Horizon - never quite where we can see
Just out of reach
We make believe that we have some control.
We struggle hard and then we find
We're in the Kingdom of the Blind
It's a problem for you - it's a problem for me
It's a problem for everyone.
We lost sight of our dream, chose to feed the machine
That we chased for our whole lives
We gave up the fight, losing sight of the right
To the last chance to be heard

In the wake of buying the Welcome To The Planet I also went for this older "EP" (clocking in on 70 minutes a rather big big EP...) as a final farewell to a very bright bright star that sadly doesn't shine anymore. Carsten Pieper

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced...
